Dr. Archana Vasanthakumar
Archana Vasanthakumar is a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Applied Microbiology. She received her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and did postdoctoral research in the department of Entomology at UW-Madison.

Alice DeAraujo is a Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Applied Microbiology. She received her B.S. Biological Sciences in 2010 from Bridgewater State University.

Ms. Julianna Braun
Julianna Braun is delighted to be a member of SEAS in supporting Professor Mitchell and the members of his lab in an administrative fashion. Biological sciences have always been an area of keen interest for Ms. Braun and she finds the association with Professor Mitchell and his lab particularly engaging. On her own time Ms. Braun pursues academic course work studying psychology, acting, and opera. Prof. Marc W. Mittelman
Marc Mittelman is a Visiting Professor in the Laboratory of Applied Microbiology. He is a Senior Managing Scientist at Exponent, and has an active consulting practice in the field of microbial contamination. Marc’s research interests are in mechanisms of microbial adhesion to surfaces and novel antimicrobials.
