Volunteering
The Neuromotor Control Laboratory in the School of Engineering and
Applied Science at Harvard University is seeking volunteers for motor control experiments.
Volunteers are asked to sit in front of
computer monitor and make repeated arm movements. Volunteers are paid
$20 per hour. Experiments are non-invasive and generally last 1-3 hours.
Experimentation during COVID-19
As we restart experimentation during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking great precautions to ensure safety of our study participants and research staff by maintaining social distancing protocols before, after and
during the experiments.
- All equipment is sanitized thoroughly prior to the experiment.
- We are only recruiting participants who are symptom free. Participants will be called to complete a Coronavirus Pre-visit screening form via telephone 24 hours prior to the scheduled experiment time.
- During the experiment, study participants will be alone in the experiment room. The experimenter will use a video-conferencing setup fitted in the room to provide instructions as well as to monitor the progress of the experiment.
- All participants and staff members are required to wear university-supplied surgical-grade facemasks at all times.
